Since I have to go to Jongno often
This time, I'm looking for a new place not D-tower that I always went to..
When you always move from the subway station, there is an alley with many restaurants and cafes along with the sign 'Pimatgol'.
Huh? There's a famous Michelin guide restaurant here.

The only Michelin Guide restaurant I've ever been to is called L'impasse81 in Yeonnam. It's amazing to think that there's a Michelin Guide restaurant right around the corner sometimes. ╰(*°▽°*)╯

According to the Michelin Guide description,
Established in 1954, Mijin is a friendly restaurant that offers excellent food at reasonable prices.
Since 1952, Mijin, located in the vicinity of Gwanghwamun, has been specializing in Korean-style cold buckwheat noodles. They present a broth richer in flavor than Japanese soba tsuyu, along with chewier buckwheat noodles. Operating a factory in the basement of the restaurant, they directly produce the broth and noodles, serving them promptly to customers. The cold broth, served in a pitcher, and the toppings for the buckwheat noodles are generously provided at each table, allowing adjustments according to personal preference. Another popular menu item is the buckwheat pancake filled with mung beans, tofu, fresh kimchi, and pork belly, which is also available for individual sale by the half portion. So I heard. Inside the alley labeled "Pimatgol," there's a restaurant with a very cozy interior.
Arriving before 11:30 AM, We were able to sit down immediately without any wait. (Based on weekdays)

When we finished eating and left, there was a tremendously long line outside.

You definitely have to order the signature dish the Cold Buckwheat Noodles, at Gwanghwamun Mijin.
I made one mistake though, I should have ordered the buckwheat pancake. I wanted to order it, but I forgot to. 😭
That day, I ended up ordering boiled pork because I was craving it..(>'-'<)

One side even had hot broth! (It's self-serve.)
Although I didn't get to try it since I'll see it when I pay later, it seems like it would be so nice to eat warm in the winter.
Both bossam and buckwheat came out really fast!
They settled down, ordered, set the side dishes, and almost immediately... (Amazed).
Let's try the cold buckwheat noodles that Michelin recognized.
Basically, if you order one serving, you'll get two double-decker plates like that, and you can order only one plate each.
When I looked at another table, they ordered one wheat and another menu, and they played one round per person and shared the other menu together.
Seaweed powder, sliced spring onions, and grate daikon(간 무) that can't be left out in buckwheat noodles.
A very good self-system to fit as much as you like. I love it.

Yes, it was delicious.
It's definitely a little bit different. I know what it means to have a chewy and firm texture.
Even the broth was delicious. (I usually eat only ingredients in soup)
It's the first time I've emptied all the soup in my life, so it's really interesting and that's how delicious it was 😄
If it's like Gwanghwamun prices these days, I'm really... I'm touched.
Not to mention bossam.
The dried radish and the soup that came out together are warm and delicious... The rice is very 고슬고슬( The rice is neither bland nor overcooked, it's cooked just right.) and shiny.
If there are more people, I think it would be really good to order bossam and eat it with cold buckwheat noodles...!

Oh, it was really delicious.
I even finished all the broth... I've never been so impressed by noodle dishes before in my life. Wow...
The food came out really quickly, and most importantly, the taste, portion size, and quality were all excellent for the price.
Even if it's not the main menu, everything was delicious. It's truly a top-notch place that excels in every aspect of dining. I highly recommend it! 😊👍
