This place is the real deal.
There are always elderly people here, weekdays and weekends, night and day.
Elderly at a Korean restaurant? That mean is Verified local delicious restaurants.
I don't need to explain anymore.
Wait! What is Samgyetang (삼계탕)?
This traditional Korean dish is made by cutting a whole chicken in half and simmering it in a hot pot with ingredients like ginseng, dates, ginger, and garlic. In Korea, there are three lucky days in a year, known as Samboknal, and samgyetang is often eaten on these days. Samgyetang is a typical summer dish.

# Restaurant atmosphere
Parking is available in front of the store.
It opens at 11:00, but I arrived at 11:30 for an early lunch and there were still people there.
I don't have a picture of the interior, but you have to take off your shoes to enter, and there is no seating. There are both tables and chairs.
The space inside is not cramped, and it's big enough to accommodate a large group. Would it be enough for a group after a hike?
# Menu
Only 3 menus.
Can't you tell from the number of menus?
Very simple - here's the food
The elderly people wanted to try the chuertang, but I don't eat chuertang, so I ordered samgyetang.
Mung Bean Samgyetang 17,000 won (2pcs)
Total: 34,000 won
I've never tried any other menu except Samgyetang😎
Wait! What is Mung Bean (녹두)?
Wait! What is n? A food mainly use in Asia, mung beans are similar in appearance to red beans and are used in a variety of dishes due to their high starch content, which is more than half that of other beans
# Mung Bean Samgyetang (녹두삼게탕)
It's not the camera, it's just that I took it as soon as I got out.
so it's blurry because of the steam.
Bam-bam-bam-bam, can you see it?
If you're hungry and put it in your mouth right away, you'll open it wide.
There's only one thing to do while it's still alive.
Pull out the chicken, skin it, and salt it.
Green beans?
You've only heard of them when you buy skincare from Olive Young?
This deliciousness?
You'll know it when you try it.
Mung beans add so much flavor to pork soup.
What an important friend.
You should take a few bites while brushing the flesh, and have the rest ready to eat with the green beans. (for a very tasty and perfect bite)
Not to mention, the meat is not flaky,
The garlic is soft and crumbly, and the green beans and rice grains are melt-in-your-mouth delicious with the kimchi.
The next thing we're going to do is scrape the off the bottom.
I purposely didn't scrape the nurungi from the beginning.
It would have gotten softer as it was moistened by the broth.
When you're full and want to stop eating because you don't think you can eat anymore, you gently scrape it off and take a bite... Yum!!!
Not geasy but moist boiled chicken, so delicious and healthy!
I don't think there is a healthier traditional Korean food than Samgyetang (acturlly no evidence, just my opinion).
If you're looking for Korean food, I recommend Samgyetang. I highly recommend the mung bean samgyetang restaurant near the Seoul National University entrance area.
It's a really delicious restaurant that even the locals and my grandmother say is delicious.
All my friends praised it. Recommendation.
End.
